We are a spin-off of RWTH Aachen University, which develops a special coating technology to enable recyclable plastic packaging for various applications. We are currently building a company that will significantly advance the circular economy for plastics in Germany and around the world. For this purpose, we are looking for mechatronics technicians (m/f/d) to join our operations team and work on the production and commissioning of our machines.
Mechatronics Technician – Production (m/f/d)
The Position
Your Mission
You are responsible for the assembly, adjustment, and commissioning of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components
You operate all workstations on the production line
You carry out functional and safety-related tests in accordance with internal specifications and standards
You play an active role in optimizing assembly processes, work equipment, and process sequences
You are responsible for documenting production progress, errors, deviations, and optimization suggestions in internal systems
You assist with production startup and the continuous improvement of series production
You assist with the commissioning of finished systems in Aachen and on-site at the customer's premises
You carry out regular inspections, preventive maintenance measures, and repairs to machines and systems
You ensure the rapid identification and correction of technical faults in production processes
Your Profile
You have several years of professional experience in the production of mechanical and electronic systems and ideally have vocational training in this field
You have a strong technical understanding, work independently, and are decisive
You have the ability to read and understand technical drawings, bills of materials (BOM), and work instructions
You have the ability to safely use production and assembly tools after being briefed
You have experience in using internal databases to document work progress, deviations, and errors
You ideally have the qualification to operate industrial trucks, forklifts, mobile cranes, or similar vehicles
You have the flexibility to travel internationally
You have good German and English skills
